Poz4PozLA
Poz4PozLA is a grass-roots organization dedicated to providing social venues in a safe, stress-free, drug-free, non-judgmental environment for HIV+ men in Southern California. Our group consists of men from every HIV+ walk of life that are looking to meet other HIV+ men to socialize, make new friends outside of their normal peer group and have fun. We believe that friendships and laughter are the best medicine for the mind and body.
We organize weekend morning hikes followed by breakfast. A weekly meditation class on Thursday evening and yoga class on Friday evening keeps our minds and bodies in balance. Our monthly Game Nights and Social Parties are designed to promote social interaction among the guests outside of their normal comfort zone. Our hands-on cooking classes are designed for the beginner and those that know there way around the kitchen. We get to cook and then eat! We have hosted pool parties, bbq's, movie nights, comedy club nights, poker nights and more. We love to have fun while taking care of the mind and body which keeps our spirit in balance.
